A brilliant display from FC Barcelona sees them outclass Getafe at the Estadi Johan Cruyff. Especially in the first half, Hansi Flick’s team seemed to be simply unbeatable, and they regained that momentum in the second half as well.
Thanks to a brace from Ferran Torres and a goal from Dani Olmo, Barça ended up emerging victorious with a 3-0 win. Thanks to this win, the Catalan giants continue to push for the top spot in the La Liga table.
Here are the player ratings for Hansi Flick’s players.
Player Ratings:
Joan Garcia: 7.5
Hardly tested by the opposition in this game, but his passing from the back and composure on the ball were both commendable.
Jules Kounde: 8.0
Yet another classy display from the Frenchman. Jules Kounde has regained his best version again, and it is clearly helping out the rest of the team as well.
Eric Garcia: 8.0
Completed pass after pass and never looked to be in doubt. Always composed and defensively solid, this was a top display from the Spanish centre-back.
Andreas Christensen: 8.0
Equally as impactful in defense as his Spanish partner, Andreas Christensen also did quite well to keep Getafe at bay. Moreover, his efficiency in terms of his duels was simply great.
Gerard Martin: 7.5
Solid job at the back, the Spanish left-back definitely put his heart and soul into the game. He continues to showcase exactly why Hansi Flick has a lot of faith in his ability.
Frenkie de Jong: 8.0
Yet again, the Dutchman played a great game in terms of frustrating the opponent and keeping the ball at all times. He was also solid in terms of his defensive contributions, and did well across the pitch.
Pedri: 8.5
Simply untouchable, Pedri was once again a shining beacon on the pitch for Barcelona following his previous performance. Getafe essentially gave up trying to chase or press him at one point, and the Spaniard should have had some assists as well considering the chances he created for his teammates.
Raphinha: 7.5
An intense first half performance from the Brazilian forward, who kept running and did everything necessary. Also managed to grab an assist before being replaced at half-time.
Dani Olmo: 9.0
Instrumental in a lot of the good things that Barça did tonight, and there were many. His sublime backheel assist to Ferran Torres was already brilliant on its own, but he ended up grabbing a goal for himself as well later on.

Ferran Torres: 8.5
Managed to score a brilliant brace that was made possible thanks to the beautiful football that the team was playing. Very close to getting a hattrick as well during the game.
Robert Lewandowski: 6.5
Had some good ideas every now and then, but was restricted rather well by Getafe and their structure to contain the Polish veteran.
Substitutes:
Marcus Rashford: 8.0
Incredibly active since the minute he came on, and he continuously looked to threaten the Getafe defense. Grabbed a great assist, and continued to thwart the opposition afterwards as well. Also put in a shift defensively for Barcelona.
Fermin Lopez: 7.0
Energetic and dynamic, did well to test the Getafe goalkeeper whenever possible as well. Good cameo from the Spaniard.
Marc Casado: 7.0
Essentially replaced Pedri as the team’s primary creator when he came on, and did very well to do his job right.
Roony Bardghji: 7.0
A classy display from the young winger, who had his marker completely fumbling and trying to foul him whenever he had the ball.
Not enough time or influence on the game to warrant a rating.
