OM defender Nayef Aguerd, 30, will join Real Sociedad on loan for a fee of two million euros, featuring a non-obligatory 17 million euros option. According to L'Équipe, the Moroccan international completed his medical on Wednesday.
The move has been progressing for over a week and is now nearing completion.

Real Sociedad is a familiar destination for Aguerd, who played there in the 2024-2025 season.
It is viewed as a more attractive pathway than a switch to Al-Sadd in Qatar, a club he was linked with earlier in the window.
