Marseille will hold talks with supporters at La Commanderie on Monday, the eve of their Coupe de France last-16 tie against Rennes.

According to Ici Provence, leaders of supporter groups are expected to visit the training base for the meeting.

Leonardo Balerdi and his team-mates are set to attend, with the club’s hierarchy and coaching staff also involved.

The summit follows an abject Champions League exit to Bruges, after a nightmare scenario that has sharpened the mood around the club.

It is not the first exchange with fans, a similar meeting took place in November. The context is tougher now, with Marseille having lost ground on Paris-SG and Lens, and OL back level on points in the fight for third place.
