Despite suffering back-to-back defeats against Sporting Portugal (1-2) in the Champions League and RC Lens (1-2) in Ligue 1, OM have shown some promising signs in recent weeks under Roberto De Zerbi. Speaking to the media, Aubameyang outlined the instructions the Italian coach has given him in his role as number 9.

"He wants us to be the first defenders. He asks us to press smartly, without rushing in, to disrupt the opponent's buildup. And when we have the ball, we must constantly offer solutions. It's demanding, but it's the foundation of his style. Lots of movement, lots of thinking, and always the desire to play the right way," explained the Gabonese international.
