Inter Milan talisman Nicolo Barella has returned to form following an unimpressive start to the 2025/26 season.

According to Inter’s official website via FCInter1908, the 28-year-old has emerged as one of Serie A’s most creative players this term.

Barella set up Lautaro Martinez for Inter’s second goal in yesterday’s 2-0 win over Pisa, marking his fourth league assist of the season.

Therefore, only Como starlet Nico Paz boasts more assists in Italy’s elite division, having tallied five in 13 matches.

Meanwhile, Barella has drawn level with Federico Dimarco as Inter’s joint-best assist provider this term.

Indeed, both players have four assists apiece.

After reeling off several underwhelming showings earlier in the season, he has returned to his usual best.
