Organised Corinthians supporters visited CT Joaquim Grava on Friday morning to seek explanations from the squad over recent performances before the Fluminense game. According to Meu Timão, they were allowed inside to speak with players.

The group were authorised to enter the training centre before a session led by Fernando Diniz, and the meeting was held in the press room with only the team captains present.

Corinthians are in their worst spell of the season, with five consecutive defeats in the Campeonato Brasileiro and elimination from the Conmebol Libertadores.

The morning after the defeat to Estudiantes of Argentina, a wall at Parque São Jorge, the club’s social HQ, was daubed with the messages “Fora Memphis” and “salário de milhões, futebol de centavos”.

The team host Fluminense at Neo Química Arena on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
