Go Ahead Eagles and AZ drew 0-0 at De Adelaarshorst, a result that keeps AZ sixth in the Eredivisie and Go Ahead 11th.
In the eighth minute, Stefán Sigurðarson's header was saved low by Rome Owusu-Oduro.
The Supereagles carried a threat before the break as Jakob Breum and Victor Edvardsen had efforts blocked. Weslley Patati then stung Jari de Busser's gloves from distance (36.), and Mexx Meerdink was denied from close range (44.).
After the restart, Patati forced another sharp stop from de Busser (49.). AZ introduced Denso Kasius and Kees Smit (63.), and Smit's angled shot was saved high at the top of the goal (77.).
Deep in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time, Owusu-Oduro saved Finn Stokkers' header and then blocked Melle Meulensteen from point-blank range to secure the draw.
The Supereagles finished with 15 attempts, four on target. AZ produced 23 attempts, also four on target, and won 10 corners.
Next, the Supereagles visit Sparta Rotterdam. AZ host FC Twente.
