Palmeiras have opened negotiations with Manchester City over forward Allan, with talks centred on a fee of 35 to 40 million euros.

Earlier in this window, Palmeiras rejected a 30 million euros approach from Aston Villa, made up of 25 million euros fixed plus 5 million euros in guaranteed bonuses irrespective of targets.

There is interest from Allan’s camp in pushing the deal, which they see as a unique opportunity.

The club still prioritises sporting objectives and does not wish to sell, but an exceptional financial offer could accelerate Allan’s departure, with the forward regarded as one of the side’s key players.

Financially, the scenario echoes Vitor Reis last January, when Manchester City offered 35 million euros, about R$ 220 million at the time, and Palmeiras completed the sale.
