Palmeiras have taken Fortaleza to the Câmara Nacional de Resoluções de Disputa, CNRD, over an unpaid 225,000 euro instalment, about R$ 1.4 million, linked to Gustavo Mancha's move to Olympiacos. According to Nosso Palestra, the payment should have been made in November 2025.

Palmeiras notified Fortaleza in December 2025 about the missed transfer pass-on, extended the deadline by 40 days, then proposed a repayment plan, but received no response.

Fortaleza had paid the first 825,000 euros a month late. Beyond the sum now in dispute, a further 300,000 euros from the agreed pass-on remains outstanding.

Mancha, a defender developed at Palmeiras, was sold by Fortaleza to the Greek club for R$ 28.3 million. Palmeiras are due around R$ 8.4 million for their 30% stake.

Separately, Palmeiras are still awaiting the first instalment from Breno Lopes's sale from Fortaleza to Coritiba. The deal is worth R$ 15 million, and Palmeiras are entitled to 50% of that sum.

Breno Lopes scored the winner that sealed Palmeiras' 2020 Libertadores title.

Palmeiras face Sporting Cristal-PER in the Libertadores on 16 April, 19:00 Brasília time.
