Palmeiras whiz Gabriel Veron admits he uses Manchester City ace Gabriel Jesus as a role model.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona, among others, are being linked with the winger. But City are regarded as the European club showing the most serious interest.

Veron revealed to Goal: "Gabriel Jesus, I use him as an example. He is a fantastic striker who does everything to reach the top. I look up to him and I want to follow in his footsteps.

"I watch a lot of the Premier League, it is a very entertaining and tough league.

"But I also watch Serie A and La Liga."
