Paris FC thrashed Brest 4-0 on Sunday to sustain their push towards the Ligue 1 top 10. Rudy Matondo, 18, struck twice from corners, while Luck Zogbé endured a torrid night.

According to L'Équipe, Matondo earned an eight for a tireless midfield display built on pressing and recovery. He scuffed an early effort on seven minutes, then opened the scoring on 13 after Ilan Kebbal’s corner.

Kebbal was bright throughout, also sending Ikoné clean through on 16 minutes. Paris doubled the lead on 20, Raphaël Le Guen beaten for pace by Geubbels in the move. Captain Moustapha Mbow was booked on 35 for a foul on Del Castillo.

Zogbé was exposed, outpaced by Ikoné on 12 minutes and caught by Coppola’s lob towards Ikoné on 42 that clipped the bar. Matondo made it 3-0 on 67, turning in a corner taken by substitute M. Lopez after Kebbal’s withdrawal on 65.

Koleosho replaced Geubbels on 65 and was denied by Coudert soon after. He wrapped it up with the fourth on 89, his third since arriving in Paris. Matondo made way for Marchetti on 77 as Paris closed it out.
