Trapp then clawed away a close-range header from Guéla Doué (34.), preserving parity before the break.

After Antoine Kombouaré introduced Luca Koleosho, Willem Geubbels and Jean-Philippe Krasso (64.), Paris FC carried the greater threat. Koleosho twice drew smart saves from Mike Penders (65., 77.).

Diego Coppola also glanced a decent chance wide from a corner (75.), as the visitors pressed late on.

Le Racing lost Benjamin Chilwell to injury after using all their substitutions (90.), finishing the game under strain but still level.

Le Racing had 60.3% of the ball and won 12 corners, asking most of the questions. Paris FC registered 11 attempts and made 36 clearances as their back line held firm.

Next, Le Racing face Rijeka in the UEFA Conference League. Paris FC host Le Havre next.
