Paris FC in contention to sign Juventus’ Jonathan David | OneFootball

Paris FC are in contention to sign Juventus forward Jonathan David (26), according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport.

David, who struggled at the Turin-based club after making the move (on a free transfer) from Lille OSC last summer, is being shown the exit door by Luciano Spalletti, La Gazzetta dello Sport understands. A return could be on the cards for the Canada international. Paris FC sold Willem Geubbels earlier in the summer and have replaced him with Lassine Sinayoko. However, there was also the surprise retirement of Ciro Immobile, who had looked set to continue for a further season before announcing his imminent retirement to the Paris FC dressing room last month.

Liam Rosenior’s side are, therefore, looking to add an extra player to their attacking arsenal and David has emerged as a target for Les Parisiens. There is, however, some stern competition in the form of Atletico Madrid.
