Pedri, Cubarsi And Rashford Get 7 | Barcelona Players Rated In Poor Loss Vs Sevilla

Barcelona faced off against Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 13th minute when Alexis Sanchez scored from the penalty spot. Isaac Romero doubled the home team’s lead in the 36th minute, but Barca got a goal back thanks to Marcus Rashford’s effort in the latter stages of the first half. The Catalan giants went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Hansi Flick’s men conceded again in the 90th minute when Jose Angel Carmona found the back of the net. Akor Adams added another goal for Sevilla in injury time as the contest ended with Barcelona suffering a poor 4-1 loss away from home.
He made one solid save at the back but conceded four goals this afternoon.
RB: Jules Kounde – 6/10
Kounde failed to keep things solid inside his half but had some bright moments in the opponent’s half.
CB: Ronald Araujo – 5.5/10
He was far from convincing on the defensive end of the field and was replaced at half-time.
CB: Pau Cubarsi – 7/10
Cubarsi cleared the danger when he could and was a good presence on the ball.

LB: Gerard Martin – 6/10
He struggled to keep things tidy at the back and made two good runs with the ball.
CM: Pedri – 7/10
The Spaniard engineered a few inviting chances for his teammates to score and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Frenkie de Jong – 6/10
He earned the ball back twice but offered very little going forward.
RW: Marcus Rashford – 7/10
Rashford was a real threat on the right flank and managed to score in the dying embers of the first half.
CAM: Dani Olmo – 6/10
He made two decent chances in the final third but never looked like he would score.
LW: Ferran Torres – 6/10
Torres was quiet for most of his time on the pitch.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 5.5/10
The Polish striker failed to impress with his performance on the offensive end of the field.

He did his fair share of defending.
CB: Eric Garcia – 6/10
Garcia failed to keep things solid at the back.
