Corinthians held Rosario Central to a 0-0 draw in Argentina in the Libertadores last 16 on Thursday, and Pedro Raul matched his longest run of starts for the club at three games.
According to Meu Timao, the number 18 has led the line in the last three fixtures while Yuri Alberto recovers from a grade two injury to the back of his right thigh.
He started the 2-1 win over Internacional in the Copa do Brasil on 6 August. He then featured in the 2-0 victory at Red Bull Bragantino in the Brasileirão on 9 August, scoring in both, before Thursday’s stalemate in Rosario on 13 August.
In Rosario he played the full 90 minutes, recording 21 on-ball actions and just one attempt, which went wide.
Since joining in 2024, he has twice produced the same three-match streak. In February he began games against Novorizontino, Santos and Portuguesa, all in the Paulistão.
A second run came between March and April against São Bernardo in the Copa do Brasil, Londrina in a friendly, and Racing, of Uruguay, in the Sul-Americana.
He could set a new personal mark on Sunday against Cruzeiro, with Yuri Alberto yet to start his return to pitch work and likely to remain sidelined. Corinthians host Cruzeiro at Neo Química Arena in the 23rd round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, kick-off 19:30.
