According to Coluna Do Fla, Pedro will start for Brazil against India in Kolkata on Saturday at 11:00 Brasília time, as Carlo Ancelotti names a much changed XI.
Brazil's line-up is: Pedro Morisco, Matheuzinho, Marquinhos, Arthur Dias, Douglas Santos, Danilo, Andrey Santos, Gabriel Bontempo, Estevão, Pedro, Vini Júnior.
Ancelotti has rotated heavily from the side that beat Australia, with only Marquinhos, Danilo and Vini Júnior retained. Samuel Lino starts on the bench.
Pedro, of Flamengo, replaces Raphinha, who was withdrawn with a right thigh muscle injury. Endrick was tried in training for the role, but the Flamengo forward gets the nod.
Brazil have already faced Australia twice in this window, drawing 1-1 in Townsville then winning 4-2 in Brisbane. The meeting with India is the third and final match of the September and October FIFA window.
Globo will show the match on free-to-air television, with Sportv on pay TV and Getv streaming on YouTube.
