According to Bild, Philipp Max is looking to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer.
In January 2023, there was great expectation when Philipp Max joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from PSV Eindhoven. Having impressed during his six-month spell at the club, Die Adler made the loan signing permanent last summer.
However, the former German international has since failed to push on at the Deutsche Bank Park.
As well as this, during Die Adler’s pre-season tour of the USA, Max has rarely featured for Dino Toppmöller’s side. Against FC Juarez, the 30-year-old was deployed at centre-back, while against FC Louisville, he was substituted on for the final few minutes.
Having already fought back into Toppmöller’s side after being left out of their Europa Conference League squad last season, Max has decided to call it quits on his time at Frankfurt.
With Niels Nkounkou and Nathaniel Brown ahead of him in the squad, Max is looking to move on, despite his contract not being set to expire until 2026. While it is unsure where his next move will be, Frankfurt have agreed to sell him this summer should a club come in for his signature.
