PSV continued their fine run of form with a 5-0 win against FC Zurich, ensuring they’ll advance to the knockout stages of the Conference League at the very least.
Here’s how we think every player performed…
Walter Benitez, 6 – Had a quiet night, but did make one great save.
Phillip Mwene, 7 – Was really good going forward, creating two huge chances.
Andre Ramalho, 6 – Wasn’t really tested but didn’t do anything wrong.
Armando Obispo, 7 – As is usually the case nowadays, was good on the ball and created the first goal with a great header.
Phillip Max, 6 – Got forward well but his crossing wasn’t great.
Erick Gutierrez, 7 – Played as the lone holding midfielder and thrived, providing much-needed stability and control in the middle of the park.
Ibrahim Sangare, 7 – Excelled in a more offensive position, getting a goal, an assist and causing real problems for Zurich.
Joey Veerman, 8 –
Xavi Simons, 6 – Had a few good moments before being subbed off at half-time to be given a rest, which shows how important he’s become to this team.
Guus Til, 6 – Brought team-mates into play well at times, getting two assists, but missed a huge chance himself.
Cody Gakpo, 7 –
Richard Ledezma, 6
Anwar El Ghazi, 7
Johan Bakayoko, 6
