FLW's Plymouth Argyle fan pundit has given his reaction to reports of the club's interest in Stevenage midfielder Harvey White.
Plymouth Argyle will be hoping to launch another promotion push in League One next season.
After a poor first half of last season, Plymouth sat in the relegation zone in early January, but despite a significant upturn in form after the turn of the year, they were unable to force their way into the play-off places.
As head coach Tom Cleverley begins work on rebuilding his squad, the likes of Conor Hazard, Brendan Galloway, Ayman Benarous and Jamie Paterson have all left the club at the end of their contracts, while captain Joe Edwards has signed a new one-year deal.
The Pilgrims have made two new signings so far this summer, with defenders Wes Harding and Alex Hartridge arriving from Millwall and Burton Albion respectively, and it seems they may be nearing their third addition of the window.
According to Plymouth Live, Argyle are "working on a deal" for Stevenage midfielder Harvey White, and a medical has been arranged for the 24-year-old as he closes in on a free transfer switch to Devon.
White scored six goals and provided seven assists in 50 appearances for Alex Revell's side last season as they finished sixth in League One, two points clear of eighth-placed Plymouth, but despite being offered a new contract by Boro, he looks set to swap the Lamex Stadium for Home Park.

When asked for his thoughts on the potential signing of White, FLW's Plymouth Argyle fan pundit Luke Hodge claimed that the Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate would be the perfect replacement for Herbie Kane, who had an impressive loan spell at Home Park in the second half of last season.
"I'd be well up for Harvey White coming," Luke told FLW.
"At just 24 years old on a free transfer, he's a low-risk, high up side addition who fits exactly what we need right now.
"He's a very different profile to our current central midfielder, he's more technical and progressive on the ball and has that similar creative left-foot quality to Herbie Kane, who looks unlikely to sign permanently.
"Kane was excellent for us when fit last season, so replacing that kind of influence makes a lot of sense, especially with Joe Ralls looking doubtful.
"White's set-piece delivery is a big bonus as well, and he has shown he can chip in with goals and assists, he had solid numbers last season at Stevenage.
"He's genuinely more reliable fitness wise than Ralls and Kane as well, which is massive for us.
"With Boating and Wiredu bringing the defensive steel, plus Ibrahim coming back from injury and Watts as well, the midfield already has a solid foundation.
"White would add real quality and competition in the more advanced creative roles.
"Stevenage fans have been really positive about him, and we've shown we can develop and improve young players really well.
"If the deal gets done quickly, this feels like an excellent bit of business for Argyle."

White was one of the standout midfielders in League One for Stevenage last season, and as he is only 24 years old, he still has his peak years ahead of him, so bringing him in on a free transfer would be a real coup for Plymouth.
Kane had a transformative effect on the Pilgrims' season after arriving in the winter window, but while it would be a blow if the Huddersfield Town loanee does not return to Home Park, there is no doubt that White is a more than capable replacement.
However, as well as strengthening their own team, Argyle signing White would also weaken one of the sides that finished above them last season and will likely be a promotion rival again in the upcoming campaign, which would make it an excellent piece of business all round.
