Sunderland have confirmed ticket arrangements for their Europa League trip to Lech Poznan, as Regis Le Bris discussed Chris Rigg’s push for a starting role.
They opened the campaign with a home win over AZ Alkmaar, Enzo Le Fee scoring from the spot. A visit to Portuguese club Torreense follows the international break before Poznan. The club said in a statement that the tie is on Thursday 22 October, kick-off 5.45pm BST.
Sunderland’s allocation is 2,081, including seven wheelchair spaces. All supporters must use official coach travel to and from the stadium, a requirement of the Polish authorities, with coach transport priced at £5.
Rigg has one start this season, the full 90 minutes in a Carabao Cup win at Hull City. In the league he featured from the bench against Ipswich Town and Fulham, and played the final six minutes versus AZ Alkmaar.
He was an unused substitute for Brentford, Arsenal and Manchester City before the break. Le Bris views his development as a huge step forward from last year, highlighting increased maturity, and believes he is a strong option who might start if he seizes an opportunity.
