Everton Cebolinha will leave Flamengo at the end of the season, and a switch to Krasnodar has stalled after a block from president Sergey Galitsky.

ESPN reports that Flamengo and Krasnodar had almost all terms agreed, and the forward also held productive talks, but Galitsky stopped negotiations and overruled the board.

Talks could be revived, yet they are frozen for now. Krasnodar are already searching for another winger in South America.

The 30-year-old has lost his place and has repeatedly said he needs a change of scene. In July, after a training-camp win over Benfica, he spoke of closing a cycle, staying until year-end and trying to finish with a title.

Flamengo signed him from Benfica in June 2022 for around 14 million euros, roughly R$ 88 million at the time. He has played 191 matches, scoring 21 goals with 25 assists.

His last appearance was the 1-1 draw with São Paulo on 26 July in round 20 of the Brasileirão. Flamengo have played six matches since, across league and Libertadores, without Leonardo Jardim calling on him, and he is now seeking a new club.
