Gianluca Prestianni playfully called Nicolás Otamendi an old man in an Instagram post after the pair met up in Argentina.

According to Glorioso 1904, the former Benfica captain marked the reunion by presenting the Benfica winger with a River Plate shirt.

Prestianni is with the Argentina squad after a call-up from Lionel Scaloni and is available for the world champions' matches against Bolivia, Burkina Faso and Benin, the last set to mark Lionel Messi's farewell to the national team.

Otamendi left Benfica in the summer to return home with River Plate.

The pair shared a dressing room in Lisbon for more than two years, and Otamendi made 281 appearances for the club. Prestianni thanked his compatriot on social media, saying it was great to see him again and expressing gratitude for the shirt.
