Preston North End 2-2 Watford at Deepdale keeps Preston North End seventh in the Championship, with Watford staying 12th.

In the 19th minute, Lewis Dobbin swept in from Benjamin Whiteman's cross to put Preston ahead.

David Cornell made smart stops before the break, but Othmane Maamma levelled (55.) from Imran Louza's pass. Moments later, Odeluga Offiah put through his own net (57.) to edge the Hornets in front.

Daniel Jebbison then went off injured and Paul Heckingbottom turned to his bench (63.). The changes paid off when Milutin Osmajic, supplied by Callum Lang, steered in the equaliser (70.).

Kwadwo Baah drove the visitors forward after the restart, flashing efforts just wide as the Hornets pressed.

Preston managed eight attempts and delivered nine corners as they chased a winner. The Hornets produced 20 attempts, hitting the woodwork once and forcing four blocks.

Preston visit Blackburn next. The Hornets host Derby.
