Prospective FC Porto coach Farioli wants to sign Ajax maestro | OneFootball

According to Voetbal International, Francesco Farioli will be the new coach of FC Porto. The 36-year-old Italian, who recently left Ajax, will likely be presented this weekend. Furthermore, it is believed that Kenneth Taylor will soon follow as a new player.

Acting on Portuguese sources, the Dutch outlet claims that the paperwork is “currently being completed” regarding Farioli’s move, after which he will sign the contract this weekend. In the meantime, the focus at FC Porto steadily turns to strengthening the selection.

The attention is reportedly on Taylor. The 23-year-old midfielder still has a contract with Ajax until the summer of 2027, but is open to leaving in this window.

FC Porto have apparently already submitted a bid to the Amsterdammers, but so far without the desired result. Ajax are said to be asking for around 30 million for the five-time Oranje international.
