PSG are monitoring Lyon teenager Adil Hamdani, 17, who has yet to sign the professional contract offered by OL, according to L'Équipe. The Paris-born forward, a boyhood PSG fan, could help cover a possible Ibrahim Mbaye departure this summer.

To prise a player tied to an aspirant contract for one more year, PSG would need to reach agreement with Lyon and pay a fee. He can operate on either flank or behind a striker and has four U17 caps.

Hamdani is being targeted after Paris failed to land Montpellier youngster Laciné Megnan-Pavé. They had an agreement with the player, but not with his club, despite an offer of about €10m.

He made his senior debut for OL at 16 years and 306 days, coming on against Auxerre in Ligue 1 on 23 October, a 0-0 draw. That made him the club’s third-youngest player of the 21st century, behind Willem Geubbels and Rayan Cherki.

A right-footer still involved in OL’s pre-season under Paulo Fonseca, he has featured in seven matches with the first-team group. He also provided an assist in the Europa League against PAOK Salonika, a 4-2 win, on 29 January.
