Lyon train with full squad before Brussels trip and Anderlecht Europa League opener | OneFootball

Lyon held a closed-doors session on Tuesday morning before travelling to Belgium in the late afternoon, on the eve of their Europa League opener away to Anderlecht. As is customary under Paulo Fonseca, the session was held at the Groupama Training Center.

According to Le Progres, the group was at full strength, with 23 outfield players, including Julien Duranville as he continues his return from injury, plus three goalkeepers.

The team are scheduled to depart for Brussels from Bron at 17:00. Paulo Fonseca and Clinton Mata are due to speak to the media from 19:25 at Lotto Park in Anderlecht.

Several changes could be made to the starting line-up, with a number of players needing game time, notably Clinton Mata and Keito Nakamura.

Lyon also face a very important Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday at 20:45 at Groupama Stadium against Stade Rennais.
