PSG have had two pieces of bad admin news in the last few hours, with a venue change and a suspension incoming.

PSG’s match against Rennes this weekend will now be played at the Roazhon Park (Rennes’ home ground) instead of the Parc des Princes because of the poor condition of the pitch in Paris.

“We were Informed on August 17th by Paris Saint-Germain of the condition of the Parc des Princes pitch,” an LFP statement read.

“The LFP proceeded on the morning of August 19 with a visit from a specialized engineering firm and a delegate to conduct a thorough examination of the playing surface. Following this examination, it was determined that the current condition of the pitch did not allow for ensuring the safety of the players.”

PSG hit with admin bad news double

In other news, PSG have been hit by more bad news. The Parisians decided not to appeal Nuno Mendes’ red card picked up against Lens in the Trophee des Champions. The LFP have now decided that the Portugal full back will be banned for three Ligue 1 games.

PSG want £140m for Bradley Barcola, and the ball is now in Liverpool’s court to see if they will pay it.
