According to L'Équipe, PSG and sporting adviser Luis Campos are planning a calm summer built on stability, keeping the squad’s spine rather than launching a rebuild.
Campos’ schedule is relentless. He was in Lausanne on Friday as the youth side lost a Youth League semi-final to Real Madrid, 1-1 then 4-5 on penalties. A day earlier he attended Braga’s Europa League quarter-final at Real Betis, a 4-2 second leg after a 1-1 first leg.
In Paris he meets agents weekly, often in luxury hotels. He has met representatives of Gabriel Martinelli and Yan Diomandé, and on the morning of the 2-0 Champions League quarter-final first leg against Liverpool on 8 April he still held talks, before a 2-0 return leg. Campos is open to all positions, with priority on a defender and a more attacking profile.
PSG aim to keep Marquinhos, Fabian Ruiz, recently extended, and Ousmane Dembélé. Dembélé, 28, is under contract to 2028 and talks on a longer deal continue, with optimism.
Marquinhos, 31 and also tied to 2028, will again make his annual call. PSG would not stand in his way if he wanted a new adventure, and last season he waited until the days before the European title to confirm he would stay. Talks with potential successors are already open.
Bradley Barcola, 23 and signed to 2028, is in demand and has not extended, with talks stalled. Senny Mayulu, 19, will have one year left in June and has not re-signed.
Plan A is one or two genuine upgrades. PSG have three targets per position across three budget bands, the list approved by an involved Luis Enrique, who wants movement only for a true plus. With renewals pending and possible game-time requests from Lee Kang-in, Gonçalo Ramos and Lucas Beraldo, they intend to be ready.
