It’s a huge night in the Champions League for Chelsea, who take on PSG and have put out what Liam Rosenior obviously considers his best big game team right now.

It’s actually the exact XI we predicted earlier today. That means the big calls went as follows.

Rosenior’s big calls for PSG clash

In goal, Filip Jorgensen has kept his place after Robert Sanchez looked shaky in the Wrexham game on Saturday. We’re really not behind this goalkeeper gambling, but you’ve got to respect Rosenior’s right to try the two options and work out who he likes.

In defence, Malo Gusto plays at right back. That frees up Reece James to play in midfield. Andrey Santos has held that position alongside Moises Caicedo for a while now, and will be gutted he’s missing out here.

But it was always the way things were going. Reece was trusted in these games in midfield by Enzo Maresca and Rosenior has been tempted by it too recently. Gusto’s positive effects in the Club World Cup final against this opposition are clearly well remembered too.

The front line goes as you’d expect. We can’t help but have a flash of hope that Cole Palmer is going to produce something magical today.
