PSV have firmly ended speculation linking Ivan Perisic with a return to Inter Milan, as CEO Marcel Brands made the club’s position crystal clear.
Speaking to NOS ahead of PSV’s Eredivisie clash with Feyenoord, Brands dismissed the growing transfer talk.
“A lot has been written about Perisic, but we have never heard anything,” he said, with quotes via FCInterNews.
“We spoke with the player. He was contacted, apparently that’s how things work these days. But he stays, that’s it.”

Those comments appear to close the door on Inter’s hopes of bringing the Croatian veteran back to San Siro this winter.
Reports in Italy had suggested the Nerazzurri were exploring a short-term solution on the flank, with Perisic seen as an experienced option who knows the club well.
PSV’s stance, however, leaves no room for manoeuvre.
The Dutch side view Perisic as an important part of their squad during a key stage of the season.
That message was reinforced on the pitch, where coach Peter Bosz named the winger in the starting line-up against Feyenoord.
The links are now effectively shut down.
Therefore, Inter must look elsewhere if they want to add experience out wide before the window closes.
