Despite signing Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus still want another striker, and the Frenchman did not impress on his second debut for the club.

With Jonathan David and Arkadiusz Milik as their other options, the Bianconeri could be in trouble if they do not sign another striker before this transfer window closes. This is why they have now pushed to add a new frontman to their squad in the remaining days of the window, while hoping they can offload David.

Juventus seek attacking reinforcement

Kolo Muani must show better form, but he will need help during a long season, and Juventus would have to provide that for him and his manager if they are serious about finding success this term.

The Frenchman is a top player, but he has not shown good form so far. Juventus therefore continue to look for another option who can provide greater strength in attack and reduce the pressure on Kolo Muani.

The Bianconeri also need to consider their other options. David remains at the club despite Juventus wanting to offload him, while Milik is another available striker. Adding another reliable frontman would give Luciano Spalletti more choices as he looks to improve the team.

Teotino reveals Spalletti’s preference

Pundit Gianfranco Teotino has revealed the type of striker Spalletti wants to add to his squad during this window. He said via Tuttojuve:

“Spalletti wants a centre-forward from the penalty area who is a great header.”

About Jonathan David, he added: “He has always been a good centre-forward; he has always scored his goals except last year, his first at Juventus”

Spalletti’s preference suggests that Juventus are looking for a striker who can provide a different attacking threat, particularly inside the penalty area. A player who is strong in the air could give the Bianconeri another dimension and help them compete more effectively.

Juve have to have a better squad this term, otherwise they could perform worse than they did in the last campaign. Their search for another striker is therefore an important part of their plans, especially with the transfer window nearing its conclusion.

If they can add the right player, Juventus will give Spalletti another option in attack and reduce their reliance on Kolo Muani. The Frenchman remains an important player, but he needs support if the club are to achieve their ambitions this season.
