QPR face fitness worries in the three-week break, with Richard Koné set to miss West Ham and Rumarn Burrell a doubt. Karamoko Dembélé is edging towards full training and Rayan Kolli struck twice for the U21s. Former forward Djibril Cissé has also responded to revived 2012 accusations.

Hounslow Herald reports that Rangers paused the campaign sixth in the Championship after three draws, and resume at West Ham on nine October.

Koné sustained a knee injury in a development match against Bolton and is expected to miss the trip. Tests continue to assess severity and establish how long he will be out.

Burrell was absent from Jamaica’s squad on 29 September after a reported injury and has allegedly returned to London. His involvement at West Ham remains uncertain pending clarification.

Head coach Julien Stephan said Dembélé is close to rejoining full training, starting with adapted sessions, after his ACL injury in January. Competitive minutes are another step, but he and the staff are encouraged.

Kolli came off the bench to score twice in a 4-2 defeat at Swansea on Monday. He has yet to feature for the first team this season.

Cissé rejected suggestions on X that QPR aided Manchester City’s 2012 title win, calling for a proper discussion and arguing United’s five league defeats and last-day jeopardy were decisive.

"I was celebrating with Samir Nasri. I didn't celebrate with Mario Balotelli, Sergio Aguero or anybody else," Cissé told FourFourTwo. "I was happy for my friend and also that we managed to stay up."
