QPR set to sanction transfer exits for 3 first-team players

Rayan Kolli, Kieran Morgan, and Ziyad Larkeche could each leave QPR this summer, as Julien Stephan attempts to thin out his squad

Queens Park Rangers have had a solid transfer window so far, and with two weeks to go until the September deadline, Julien Stephan will be keen to iron out his squad for the upcoming campaign, as it has been revealed which three players could leave Loftus Road this summer.

QPR kicked off their 2026/27 Championship campaign with a 3-1 victory away to Portsmouth, with goals from Ilias Chair and Koki Saito giving the West London outfit all three points.

As the R's prepare to take on Bolton Wanderers in their first home game of the new season, Stephan will be pleased with how business has gone so far.

Each of Boy Kemper, Calum Ward, Tariq Lamptey, Glen Kamara, and Dennis Cirkin have penned permanent deals this summer, whilst Pierce Charles has arrived on loan from Manchester City to provide an excellent option between the sticks.

Whilst the likes of Isaac Hayden, Steve Cook, and Sam Field have all left, it would be hard to argue Stephan's side hasn't gotten stronger, as now, it has been revealed by Alan Nixon via his Patreon which three players could be next out of the Loftus Road doors before the September deadline.

Rayan Kolli

Rayan Kolli, 21, spent time in the youth system of West Ham United before joining QPR in 2021, where he has remained on the fringes of the first-team ever since, unable to quite nail down a starting berth in West London.

Capable of playing anywhere across the attacking third, Kolli has scored 11 and grabbed four assists in 57 games across all competitions for the R's, but now, could be set for an exit.

With the likes of Chair, Saito, Karamoko Dembele, Kwame Poku, Paul Smyth, Alfie Llyod, Justin Obikwu, Richard Kone, Rumarn Burrell, and Harvey Vale for competition, there is no obvious route for the Englishman to break his way into the R's squad, as his immediate future may be best elsewhere.

Football League World's QPR fan pundit, Louis Moir, has previously stated that the club should be looking for around '£5 million minimum' to sell Kolli, but with the forward entering the final year of his deal, that sort of fee would appear unlikely.

If terms over a new deal cannot be reached within the coming days and weeks, a permanent exit appears the likeliest solution for Kolli, as numerous EFL teams ought to be on high alert.

Kieran Morgan

Like Kolli, midfielder Kieran Morgan came through the ranks of another London club before plying his trade with QPR, having come through the youth system at Tottenham Hotspur.

Morgan, 20, failed to make a single senior appearance for Spurs, but since arriving at Loftus Road in 2024, has gone on to make 61 first-team appearances for the club, scoring three and assisting three.

However, with Nicolas Madsen, Jonathan Varane, Kamara, and Isak Mulugeta as competition of the middle of the park, regular minutes are far from guaranteed for Morgan this season.

The Englishman was limited to the bench in their League Cup clash with Millwall, and was left out of the squad entirely for their trip to Pompey, with an exit looking increasingly likely.

Ziyad Larkeche

Like both Kolli and Morgan, left-back Ziyad Larkeche came through the ranks of another London club before joining QPR, with the Frenchman having spent time with Fulham previously.

Larkeche also plied his trade with Paris Saint-Germain before moving to England in 2020, where he has since spent time with Barnsley and Dundee as well.

The defender missed the entirety of last season after sustaining an ACL injury in pre-season, and with both Kemper and Cirkin having joined this summer, the writing appears to be on the wall for Larkeche, despite having only signed a fresh deal 12 months ago.
