Dani Raba will not make the trip to Getafe. According to AS, the forward has stayed in Valencia due to ongoing discomfort, joining Thierry Rendall, Julen Agirrezabala and Mouctar Diakhaby on the sidelines.

He also missed Thursday’s Copa del Rey tie against Burgos. Having not featured in any of the last five league matches, his absence barely alters Corberán’s plans.

Valencia travelled to Madrid by AVE on Saturday afternoon and will stay overnight. They face Getafe at 14:00 on Sunday.

Corberán’s squad includes three academy players who have been regulars in recent weeks. Goalkeeper Vicent Abril is joined by defenders Rubén Iranzo and Alejandro Panach.

Recent meetings at the Coliseum have brought mixed runs. Getafe are winless in their last four league games against Valencia, while Valencia have not won any of their last six visits to Getafe.
