France women completed a full, rain-soaked session at Clairefontaine on Tuesday morning ahead of a visit from Emmanuel Macron.
According to L'Équipe, the visit stirred the calm of Clairefontaine but left the squad largely unfazed. Training began at 10.30 and ran for two hours. While the group was complete, Melween N'Dongala, Clara Mateo and Melvine Malard skipped the final drill and finished with stretching.
In steady rain, goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin looked relaxed despite her place being under threat after a lack of minutes in Denver, USA. She joked with Griedge Mbock, who has withdrawn but attended as an observer, and impressed during the drills.
Most exercises were won by Selma Bacha's side. The Lyon player revelled in making the point. An evening get-together is planned with the men's team at the château, while Laurent Bonadei's players are based at a hotel in Rambouillet.
Les Bleues face Poland in Gdansk on Friday at 18.00, then host Ireland in Grenoble on Tuesday at 20.00 to conclude their 2027 World Cup qualifying campaign.
