Rangers consider swoop for AF Rodez’s Ibrahima Baldé | OneFootball

Scottish giants Rangers are considering a swoop for AF Rodez forward Ibrahima Baldé (23), according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.

The former France youth international has set Ligue 2 alight so far this season. In just three league games, the Frenchman already has four goals. The former RC Lens academy product joined Rodez back in 2024 and in that time, he has scored 24 goals in 68 appearances. He has become a prolific forward in France’s second tier and he may yet earn a move away from Rodez before the end of the summer.

Rangers are set to be busy in the final stages of the transfer window. A striker is a priority for the Scottish side, Tavolieri understands. And it is Rodez’s Baldé who has now emerged as the priority target in this key position, the journalist adds.

Whilst Rangers have yet to submit an offer for the centre-forward, they may soon do so.
