Rangers ‘Have Identified’ Four Goals In Three Games Star As Target | OneFootball

Rangers ‘have identified’ another second tier star they would like to bring in after Girona winger Kim Min-su and he has been in red hot form.

As the end of the transfer window approaches, Rangers are picking up the pace as they try to fill the holes in Derek McInnes’ squad.

They are snapping up Korean winger Su from Spanish La Liga 2 outfit Girona, having agreed to pay a €10m fee over four years, at €2.5m per year.

Set to join Kim in Govan is Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy, with Rangers having agreed a fee with the MLS side for the Venezuela attacker.

There are set to be outs too, with winger Djeidi Gassama currently being chased by two sides from Italy, who have had bids rejected.

Now it appears that Rangers are looking towards the French second tier for another potential addition before the window shuts.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, they ‘have identified’ Rodez attacker Ibrahima Balde as a target.

Whether Rangers would sign both Balde and Kelsy is open to question, but the Gers are looking at several avenues to add further in attack.

Balde has started the new campaign in superb form, smashing in four goals in just three Ligue 2 outings.

The French goal-getter managed 12 goals in 29 Ligue 2 games across all last season and looks to have stepped up on that level already.

His deal at Rodez has another two years to run and it is unclear how much the French side might want to part ways with him.

The 23-year-old came through the youth set-up at Lens before have a loan spell at Annecy and then joining Rodez on a permanent basis.

Also able to play for Senegal at international level, Balde has played for France’s Under-17s side.
