Giacomo Raspadori has suffered a muscular problem after withdrawing from Italy duty, and is expected to be sidelined for about two weeks. Atalanta said in a statement that tests revealed a low-grade biceps femoris strain in his right thigh.

He had started Monday’s 4-1 Nations League win away to Türkiye and impressed before being substituted at half-time.

The change was due to an injury concern, after which he left the Nazionale and returned to his club.

If his recovery goes to plan, he could be available when Serie A resumes after the Nations League break.

The forward has struggled for minutes with La Dea this season, scoring one in six appearances across Serie A and the Conference League play-offs.
