Bournemouth are in talks to sign 19-year-old forward Rayan after submitting a €35 million offer. The final decision rests with Vasco.

According to Globo.com, personal terms with the Premier League club are settled for a five-year contract.

Vasco have already rejected a €31 million offer from Zenit this window, having indicated they would seek €50 million to sell to the Russians. Borussia Dortmund are also keen on the striker.

Bournemouth are 15th in the Premier League with 26 points from 21 matches and have just sold Semenyo, one of their standout performers, to Manchester City for about £65 million.

Rayan recently renewed his deal, which includes a 500 million reais clause, and Vasco feel protected to consider only proposals that suit both club and player. The club’s cut in any future sale varies with the fee, and both sides were satisfied with the early December renewal.

The forward also received a significant pay rise and is now among the squad’s top earners. His deal carries performance-related bonuses, including for a possible Brazil call-up, and he has been monitored by Carlo Ancelotti.

Son of former Vasco centre-back Valkmar, Rayan joined the club aged six. He became the first team’s youngest player in 2023 at 16, then nailed down a starting spot last year, scoring 20 goals and leading the team’s season.
