RB Leipzig sign Brajan Gruda on loan from Brighton, hand him No. 10 shirt

RB Leipzig have signed Brajan Gruda on loan from Brighton until the end of the season, the club said in a statement. The Speyer native has been handed the No. 10 shirt.

Gruda has three goals and three assists from 20 appearances in all competitions this season. The former Mainz player has found adapting to the Premier League difficult.

Even so, there had been no real noise about a return to Germany before this announcement.

Leipzig may be reacting to the latest Assan Ouédraogo injury by adding another Germany U21 international. The side have also stuttered in attack, with five goals in five league games in 2026.

In a short video message, Gruda told supporters he looks forward to seeing them this weekend.
