RB Leipzig ‘to seek’ lower Rocco Reitz clause after talks

Sky Germany reports that RB Leipzig are in advanced talks to sign 23-year-old Rocco Reitz this summer.

Meetings have already been held with Borussia Mönchengladbach, with both clubs in contact.

Leipzig intend to lower the midfielder's release clause, currently set at €25-28 million.

Reitz remains the Saxony club's dream target, a stance first reported in January.

If he opts for Leipzig, he is expected to receive a substantial long-term deal running until 2031.
