Samson Baidoo has suffered another hamstring setback shortly after returning for RC Lens. According to L'Équipe, the 21-year-old defender is sidelined again.
He played an hour against Rennes on Saturday, a match that finished 3-1, after missing three matches with a hamstring issue. The Austrian has now relapsed.
The aim is to have him back for the Coupe de France quarter-final in Lyon on 5 March. In the meantime, his absence will force Pierre Sage to rethink his defensive plans.
The situation is complicated by Kyllian Antonio, 18, sustaining a foot injury against Rennes. He has joined Jonathan Gradit, who has a tibia-fibula fracture, in the treatment room for one to two months.
January loanee Arthur Masuaku, a Congo international from Sunderland until the end of the season, could fill in on the left of the back three at Jean-Bouin on Saturday at 21.05. Wing-back Ruben Aguilar is suspended and will also miss out.
