Antonio Rüdiger, who has been sidelined since mid-September with a thigh injury, is edging closer to a comeback for Real Madrid. After an intense season, this break has allowed him to fully recover.

The 32-year-old German defender is gradually getting back into training and could rejoin the squad by late November or early December. He remains in close contact with Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann, who is counting on him to bolster the national team’s defense.
His contract with Madrid runs until June 2026. There have been initial talks about a possible extension, but negotiations will resume in 2026. Rüdiger is comfortable at the club and could stay, although other options remain on the table.
