VfB Stuttgart have enjoyed unprecedented success by signing Chema Andres from Real Madrid last summer.
In his maiden season in the Bundesliga, the La Fabrica youth prodigy has established himself as a key component in the team’s midfield unit.
Chema’s performances have not gone unnoticed either, with Real Madrid keeping close tabs on his progress.
Stuttgart, for their part, look set to raid Real Madrid once again for the services of yet another promising talent.
According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Gonzalo Garcia has emerged as the dream candidate for Stuttgart for the upcoming transfer window.
The Bundesliga outfit have already been in talks with the concerned parties surrounding a potential move for Garcia, who fits all the criteria VfB are looking for.

Stuttgart’s interest in Garcia comes on the back of his unprecedented success in the FIFA Club World Cup, where he was the joint top-scorer.
However, since then, Garcia has struggled with a lack of prominence in the Real Madrid first team, although he did start in the recent defeat to Manchester City.
Despite his lack of game time, Stuttgart remain interested in the young Spaniard, who is known for his knack for sniffing out goalscoring opportunities.
However, Stuttgart have found out that striking a deal with Real Madrid for Garcia will be difficult. That is why the club are pursuing other options.
It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid are open to the possibility of selling Garcia permanently while retaining a buyback clause, thus mirroring the same formula they had applied with Chema Andres last summer.
