Even as Real Madrid are planning some major moves in the summer transfer window to strengthen their first-team squad, there is also a distinct focus on bolstering the academy ranks as well.

It has led to Los Blancos already securing quite a few exciting young Spanish talents for La Fabrica, and they continue to be on the lookout for more prospects.

Raul Lema to Real Madrid?

In that regard, MARCA reports that Real Madrid are now making a move to sign 15-year-old Deportivo La Coruna prospect Raul Lema.

The teenager is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young talents in Spanish football. The left-footed midfielder has attracted significant attention thanks to his performances and potential.

Coaches and scouts have been impressed by his technical quality, creativity, confidence on the ball, and ability to influence games despite his young age. His combination of skill, vision, and personality has marked him out as a player capable of reaching the highest level.

As a result, several major clubs have begun monitoring his progress closely. Among them, Real Madrid have emerged as one of the most determined suitors.

The Spanish giants have received highly positive scouting reports on the teenager and are now actively exploring the possibility of bringing him to Valdebebas.

Club officials view him as a player with exceptional long-term potential and believe he could become an important part of Real Madrid’s future academy structure.

A familiar route from Deportivo to Madrid

Real Madrid have a history of recruiting talented youngsters from Deportivo’s academy. One recent example was striker Noel Lopez, who joined Castilla after standing out in Galicia. However, his spell in the capital did not fully develop as expected.

A more successful case is that of Alvaro Carreras. After leaving Deportivo’s academy for Real Madrid, Carreras continued his development through spells at Manchester United and Benfica before eventually returning to Madrid as a first-team player.

Real Madrid hope that Raul Lema could follow a similarly successful path. While any potential move remains at an early stage, the club’s interest highlights the potential growing reputation of the young midfielder.
