Real Madrid star emerges as a ‘priority’ target ahead of the Turkish transfer deadline | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid finds himself front and centre on the transfer wishlist of one of Turkish football’s leading clubs.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Raúl Asencio as the player in question.

Stopper Asencio is for his part fresh off a difficult opening to the new campaign.

After struggling for form at the summer’s Club World Cup, the 22-year-old has since not been afforded an appearance in any of Real Madrid’s three La Liga fixtures.

With as much in mind, Süper Lig outfit Besiktas, it is understood, have set their sights firmly on Asencio’s services.

With the transfer window in Turkey not set to close for another week, the Besiktas brass are said to have identified Asencio as a ‘priority’ addition ahead of the deadline.

AS add, however, that:

‘The centre-back isn’t leaving Madrid under any circumstances, no matter who calls him.’
