Ultras Sur of Real Madrid, banned from the Bernabéu since 2013, have demanded public apologies from Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior and Ibrahima Konaté after they half-wore a pre-match shirt backing residents of Ceuta. The incident came before the 3-2 win over Elche on Tuesday, with the message partly obscured.

Mbappé later told AS he did so not to "establish a hierarchy of suffering".

The far-right group, known for links to neo-Nazi currents, called the players' conduct unacceptable, expressed shame, and accused them of disrespecting citizens in Ceuta who they say are suffering the consequences of an invasion.

They also argued the players are paid with socios' money. In the absence of apologies, they want Florentino Pérez to resign, holding him responsible for what they describe as a loss of the club's values and dignity.

Founded in the 1980s, Ultras Sur have a long, violent history, including Nazi salutes and racist and fascist acts. They remain in open conflict with Pérez.
