The winner of the Player of the Month award at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Friday been confirmed.

This comes amid confirmation that Arda Güler has beaten out the competition to clinch the coveted prize.

Midfielder Arda for his part took to the pitch on five occasions in the colours of Real Madrid across the month of April.

The Turk kept alive a strong stretch of individual form across these outings, racking up a pair of goals, as well as a key assist in a La Liga victory over Deportivo Alavés.

These efforts gave rise to a place on the shortlist for Real Madrid Player of the Month, alongside the quartet of Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham, Vinícius Jr, and Antonio Rüdiger.

And as alluded to above, late this week, Arda’s place atop the podium has been confirmed.

As per a statement across the social media platforms of ‘Mahou’, the 21-year-old has been named the standout performer in Álvaro Arbeloa’s Blancos squad for April:
