Real Sociedad will offer relocations to season-ticket holders unhappy with views after Anoeta’s latest works. According to Diario Vasco, president Jokin Aperribay said he had received enough complaints after Saturday’s match against Espanyol and had personally reviewed some cases.

He accompanied one supporter to assess an area seating about 190 people, some of whom will be moved. Main Stand members have already been relocated, and East Stand holders will be shown alternative seats.

He said everyone would be assisted and noted that some seating work is unfinished. Parts of the stand will get TV screens to help follow play, and he argued the pitch is clearly visible from every seat.

Aperribay added the club has not sold any of the new seats, anticipating issues for existing members and prioritising them. He invited reporters to inspect the sections at the centre of the dispute.

The problem is greatest in the final two rows of the second tier on both stands, where new overhangs from two terraces, one hosting the press, limit the overall view. Seated at the very back, the pitch remains visible, though not the opposite stand or the sky. Standing further reduces visibility, hiding the far touchline.

Complaints have been louder in the East Stand by Xanti, while the Main Stand now has a hospitality zone and will not be used regularly by the same supporters. Work continues inside Anoeta, with interior areas still unfinished.

The revamp has raised capacity to 42,247. Saturday’s attendance was 31,884, Real’s first home match of the season.
