Bradley Barcola will wear 29 at Liverpool after completing his move on Monday, keeping the number he used at PSG. The France winger has 28 caps and 6 goals and turns 24 on Wednesday.

"It is a funny story. When I was younger, playing FIFA's Journey mode with Alex Hunter, the number became symbolic," he said, speaking to Club Legacyz.

Barcola is not the first Frenchman to wear 29 for the Reds, as goalkeeper Patrice Luzi did so in his only Premier League appearance, a 1-0 win at Chelsea in January 2004.
